‘Treacherous Twins’ inspired photoshoot

I think everyone sleeps on Her Loss; it’s a great collaboration album, and while Hours in Silence is my favorite song from the project, and honestly in my top 5 Drake songs ever, Treacherous Twins is up there too.

I had the idea to “twin” with someone and create content to this song. I knew I was visiting my childhood bestie in NYC and figured we could find great scenery to twin. I had poses planned out, I wanted us is sexy form-fitting outfits… but unfortunately for me, in Summer 2024, I weighed the most I ever have and I knew I wasn’t going to feel comfortable or sexy in a form-fitting outfit. I’m not a self-conscious person, and I think I’ve always dressed well for my weight when it’s fluctuated, so I planned our “twin” outfits strategically and kept it simple with a matching cropped Champion t-shirt. (I cropped the shirts myself). But I also wanted us to express our own styles so the t-shirt was the only actual matching piece of clothing and we both accessorized how we wanted to.

I didn’t get as much behind the scenes content as I would’ve liked because being the photographer and set designer and stylist and getting content is a fucking lot… but we’re working on it! I definitely want to implement this concept again!
