Jianna’s 29th Birthday/St. Patrick’s Day Photoshoot

This is one of my favorite self portrait shoots I’ve done to date. It was a fairly simple concept, but I love how the colors came together to create the aesthetic.

My birthday is on St. Patrick’s Day, so I decided a green and gold/St. Patty’s Day theme was the way to go for my first birthday self portrait shoot.

I found some inspiration on Pinterest and created a mood board, but made it my own. I bought everything I needed to set the table (table cloth, table runner, candles and candle sticks, cake trays, confetti, and cupcakes) and bought paper shamrocks and the birthday banner for the background.

This shoot took place in my kitchen. I set the table, set up my lights, styled myself, and took the pictures in about an hour with my handy dandy Canon camera remote.

I really love how these came out.
